Photograph what you don't understand
Most AIs accept photos. Take a photo of a hard-to-read prescription, a device manual, an administrative letter, and ask: "Explain this document to me simply." It reads it for you and explains it. This is perhaps the most valuable use of all.
Instant translation
An instruction manual in English, a message from a cousin abroad, a menu on holiday: "Translate this for me into French." And the other way round: "Write this sentence in Spanish so I can reply to my friend."
When it's written too small or too long
Tiny text, an endless page? Photograph them and ask the AI to read them to you or summarise them. Many apps can also read responses aloud: look for the little speaker icon.
A companion for curiosity
"Tell me the story of the Eiffel Tower," "Why is the sky blue?", "Give me a quiz on a topic I love," "Help me write down a memory, ask me questions." The AI has infinite patience for conversation and curiosity.
