Ask well to receive well.
A course from the Academy: AI made easy: your first steps
Go to the quiz ↓Little secret: the quality of the response depends a lot on how you ask. Nothing magical, just two or three habits to pick up.
Give details
Compare: "Give me a recipe" and "Give me an easy soup recipe for 2 people, with winter vegetables". The second request will get a response ten times more useful. The more specific you are, the better: for whom, for when, with what, at what price.
It's a conversation, not a counter
The first response isn't quite right? No problem at all. Just reply:
- "Shorter, please."
- "No oven, I don't have one."
- "Rephrase it for an 8-year-old."
- "Give me another idea."
The AI remembers what you just said and adjusts. You can start over as many times as you need, it never gets impatient.
Don't be afraid to ask "wrong"
There's no mistake, no judgement, no bad question. No one is looking over your shoulder. The AI never mocks you, and every attempt makes you more comfortable.
To remember
- Be specific: for whom, for when, with what.
- If the response isn't right, say so: it adapts immediately.
- No question is ridiculous, and no one judges you.
